The Weeknd is a master of reinvention, both sonically and when it comes to his style.
The 29-year-old, whose given name is Abel Tesfaye, showed off his latest styling proviso yesterday during Toronto International Film Festival for a premiere of “Uncut Gems.”
His brave was gone, withdrawal usually a mustache evoking a character of Lionel Richie or Freddie Mercury. For clothing, Tesfaye sported a navy fit with glossy black lace-up boots that had a block toe. Both a ‘stache and outfit oozed ’80s vibes, that could prove a change musically for a thespian as well.
“Usually when we reinvent myself, we like to get absolved of all in my closet and reinstate it with how I’m feeling during that manuscript phase,” he told FN in a 2017 cover interview. “It never changes drastically, though; rather only really somewhat over time.”
This noted a star’s initial red runner coming given his dissection from supermodel Bella Hadid. He creates his behaving entrance in “Uncut Gems.”
