Fashion’s newest smart appendage isn’t what you’d expect.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America announced it will be handing out a special pins that have “Fashion for ACLU” printed on them. So far, 50 designers have sealed on to attend and a pins will be accessible for assembly members, as well.
“We wish to be on a front line, not a sidelines, to resolutely quarrel to strengthen a changed rights and freedoms, that has taken on a renewed coercion after a heart-wrenching events of Charlottesville,” pronounced Steven Kolb, boss and CEO of CFDA, in a press release. “Our idea is to actively support petrify work that will pierce a nation meaningfully forward. The ACLU is doing that vicious work.”
Lyft is also fasten in by donating $5 from each float to and from Fashion Week events (up to $10,000) when passengers use a formula “FASHIONSTANDS,” Refinery29 reports.
