Ever since announcing her rendezvous to Prince Harry, a world’s eyes have been bound on Meghan Markle — and her style. We’ll be following a Meghan Markle Effect™ with a column, “Meghan Markle Wore a Thing.”
The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle returned to Wimbledon on Saturday to watch her companion Serena Williams conflict it out with Simona Halep in a ladies’ singles final. The new mom assimilated her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, a Duchess of Cambridge, in a stately box, recreating their first-ever corner coming from 2018.
For a sporting event, Markle chose a flowy, pleated A-line midi skirt with navy detailing by Hugo Boss. She interconnected it with a white collared button-down shirt by Givenchy, a cream-colored mini bag and Le Specs “Bandwagon” sunnies. She kept her valuables to a smallest — a solitary span of Jennifer Meyer crawler earrings — and wore her hair in a slicked behind ponytail.
The other Royal Highness (and stately enthusiast of Wimbledon) wore an emerald Dolce Gabbana ruched-sleeve dress, along with a light bare handbag, pointed-toe pumps and bullion hoops.
