Maison Margiela is behind with a latest set of reconstructed footwear. The atelier has seamlessly fused together pattern elements of sneakers with that of classical footwear, giving a span of loafers and derbys a corpulent sneaker midsole.
Both models come in a neat triple-black colorway, minute with a brew of materials like discriminating leather and durable rubber overlays. The Cross Loafers sees a far-reaching saddle with an bony slot, reinforced with double-stitched seams that go over a vamp. Minimal branding is seen during a heel, minute with resisting white stitching, while a shoe’s brownish-red leather insole is debossed with china “Maison Margiela” lettering. Featuring bony ridges, rubber EVA inserts and a serrated heel piece, a thick midsole is somewhat lifted from a back and curves adult during a toes. The Cross Derby comes with a same midsole, though a uppers arrive with a mold of a well-spoken leather lace-up Derby, finished off by tonal top-stitching around a mermaid and throat line.
The Maison Margiela Cross Derbys and Cross Loafers are now accessible during SSENSE’s website for $1,095 USD.
