For a next-level summer manicure, try a quick-dry formula – The Age
November 7, 2020 - Body Fragrance
Gemille refurbishes my tired-looking hands with a detailed shaping of my nails and a tidy-up of my cuticles before applying two base coats and two coats of putty-coloured Dazzle Dry in Sentimental. The final stage is two topcoats, allowing five minutes of drying time between each coat. She then gives me a relaxing hand massage.
Downtime Forty-five minutes.
Results As promised, my nails are bone dry five minutes after finishing the manicure, so there is no likelihood of dents from scrabbling around for my car keys. I am now on day 10 and happy to report that my nails are as polished and pristine-looking as they were when Gemille finished her work. As manicures go, this is next-level.
At home We suggest CND Solaroil (cndshop.com.au, $7) with jojoba, rice bran oil and sweet almond oil to keep those dry cuticles feeling buff.
Trend: Summer shimmer
Tinted, glistening body lotions spell warm weather and balmy breezes. We love Copacabana for its knockout depth and delicious fragrance, Biossance because it has goodness and glow, and Jojoba for its go-anywhere face and body applications.

Ecoya Fragranced Surface Spray in Tahitian Lime & Grapefruit (ecoya.com.au, $20) is a new fave. Not only does it smell like a tropical holiday, it does the grunt work when it comes to cleaning without harsh ingredients. We want the entire kitchen range.
How can I get all-over sunscreen spray coverage?
When indoors, hold the bottle 15 centimetres from your skin and, while standing in front of a mirror, go over your entire body four times. Outdoors, spritz a generous amount into your hand, then rub it on so you don’t miss a spot. Try Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen Spray SPF 50+ (chemistwarehouse.com.au, $15).
