From Off-White’s Virgil Abloh, to Riccardo Tisci and, many recently, Sophia Webster — who only denounced a plug collection with Puma — brands have been jumping during a possibility to work with sportswear brands.
Reebok worked with a designers behind Asos White, a reward womenswear tag during Asos, to emanate a 7-piece plug of classical Reebok styles reinvented with a fabrics from some of a many renouned Asos White styles.
The outcome was a desirable brew of polka-dot and striped high-tops desirous by renouned shirt styles by Asos White. Low-top sneakers came in girly white lace, quilted pinkish satin or silken navy leather.
“Asos White is a code that’s been going for utterly a while now and has a good, clever temperament — it’s everyone’s small secret. So a thought was to take a brand’s classical fabrics and brew them adult with Reebok’s classical styles,” said Vanessa Spence, Asos’ womenwear pattern director. “Whenever we do anything, we try to put a bit of a turn on it, and we consider this [collection] does demeanour utterly opposite to all a other trainers out there. It’s got streetwear elements, though also utterly a girly vibe as well.”
The initial 3 styles from a range, including a velvet low-top character and striped or polka-dot leather high-tops, will launch on Asos during a commencement of September, followed by a remaining styles that will launch online in November.
Prices operation from around $90 to $100.
Spence combined that collaborations are always a priority for Asos, and a plug collection with Hello Kitty, that will include of clothing, footwear, bags and accessories, is also in a pipeline.
